Lets Go Racing
Ok.... I know Its been a while but lets try to catch everything up since the pit party..... The first 2 pics are of my kids (Shea and Jimmy) at the Holyoke Mall for the Red Cross fundraiser we attended on saturday the fifteenth. And yes Jimmy is already trying to steal my spot on the crew...Verry Funny Kim... We saw alot of people and hopefully raised a bunch of money for them. Special thanks to Gary Rome for donating the fee for getting the cars in the mall. And kudos to Dave Capriati for organizing it. I still thought it was weird to have all stafford cars

Now on to the last picture...Thats pretty much how the day should have looked instead of pulling the car out for 1 run. Well... a third of a run at least. Its kind of hard to make a run and learn anything when its snowing/ sleeting/ raining on ya when your out there. But at least we got through tech got it on the track and had 10 cars out there (with 2 or 3 more in the pits)...ran pretty well ( second fastest without being able to push it according to Mike)..and didnt blow up or crash. All positives in my book. By the way Special Congrats to the team and Billy the Kid for getting a Wow from all 4 tech inspectors when George and I removed the hood. Great job guys...
Daves trailer is on the right of us and I decided to start the minor prank war for the year while we were waiting for the practice to be called. We bought 4 new tires and along with them got 4 Valve stem covers, ( you know the little black screw on caps ) Well racecars dont use those for easy access to check air pressures and to add or release airpressure in the tires. Well ...umm....most racecars dont....The 47 late model now sports 2 covers on her rear wheels. Still wonder if Kevin figured out what I was doing since he looked rite at me while I was doing it...Like I said its a minor prank war...Im sure dave will get me back...
Well cant wait till this weekend for the REAL racing to begin. Hope its not too cold and that the 4 letter R word stays away! Gonna be an interesting season. See ya at the track
